Dental Website Booking: Request or Confirmation?
Clarify the difference between a dental appointment request and a confirmed booking, with examples for website copy and reception handoffs.
At a glance
An appointment request asks the clinic to review a preferred time. A confirmed booking reserves a valid slot and returns a clear confirmation. Website wording should match what the integration actually does so that visitors and reception share the same expectation.

Test the exception
Try an unavailable slot, an incomplete form and a connection interruption. Ask how the system prevents duplicate requests or reservations and whether the visitor can tell that an action succeeded. Staff also need a reliable queue for requests that require review.
Measure the handoff accurately
Track form submissions, accepted requests, confirmed bookings and attended visits as different events. A website conversion count should not be presented as a count of new patients without reconciliation. Define who follows up when a request has not become an appointment.
How this website works
DentalSoftware.online accepts product enquiries only. Its contact form and Flor handoff do not book dental care or create appointments inside the prototype. Patient-facing booking and clinic website integration remain planned development work.
