Dental app
Dental App for Practice Teams and Patients
Compare dental app workflows for dentists, office teams and patients. Learn what to check for mobile scheduling, forms, messages and access.
At a glance
A dental app can serve practice teams, patients or both. Team-facing tools may provide access to schedules and patient tasks, while patient-facing tools may support appointment requests, forms and communication. The available functions depend on the product and account permissions.
The private prototype supports saved patient profiles, scheduling, visit statuses and recall tracking. Clinical, billing, insurance, messaging and website integrations described in our roadmap are not yet available for clinical use.
Review what is available →Choose the audience before the feature list
Dentists, reception teams and patients have different tasks. List what each person needs to do on a phone or tablet and what information is necessary for that task. A practice dashboard and a patient portal should not expose the same records or controls.
Check browser and native-app behaviour
Ask whether the product runs in a mobile browser, offers an installed app or supports both. Test the actual devices used by your team. Check that forms, schedules and essential controls remain readable, that long tasks preserve progress and that an interrupted connection produces a clear recovery path.
Verify notifications and access separately
A mobile interface does not automatically include push notifications, secure messaging or offline access. Ask which capabilities are currently available and how sensitive information is handled on shared or lost devices. Confirm the role and sign-in requirements for each workflow you intend to use.
Current development scope
Our dental workspace is a browser-based private prototype. It is not an App Store or Google Play release, and patient messaging, a patient portal, offline workflows and shared staff permissions are not yet available. Early access is for reviewing progress with fictional information.
Common questions
Is there a DentalSoftware.online iPhone or Android app?
No native dental app has been released. The current working prototype is browser-based and private.
Can patients use the prototype to book or submit forms?
Not yet. Patient-facing booking, forms and portal access remain planned work.
