Multi-location dentistry
Multi-Location Dental Software Checklist
Compare location permissions, shared patients, reporting definitions and cross-clinic scheduling. Plan a controlled rollout for a dental group.
At a glance
Multi-location dental software coordinates several clinics while keeping access and responsibility clear. Evaluate shared patient identity, location-specific schedules and reporting definitions before assuming that a group dashboard provides complete operational control.
The private prototype supports saved patient profiles, scheduling, visit statuses and recall tracking. Clinical, billing, insurance, messaging and website integrations described in our roadmap are not yet available for clinical use.
Review what is available →Test cross-location exceptions
Use a fictional patient who attends two sites, a clinician who works at both and a duplicate record discovered later. Ask how the vendor handles scheduling conflicts, record matching and permissions. Check which location owns follow-up and how staff identify it.
Roll out with a representative pilot
Select a clinic with typical workflows and enough variation to reveal issues. Record acceptance criteria, support owners and rollback arrangements before expanding. Comparable reports require shared definitions; more locations do not make inconsistent measurements more reliable.
Our group-workflow status
Shared clinic organizations, staff roles and multi-location operations are not yet available in the dental prototype. The present development workspace is scoped to its signed-in owner.
Common questions
Does one login imply access to every clinic?
It should not be assumed. Ask the vendor to demonstrate location-specific permissions, transfers and removal of access.
