Online Dental Software: Browser Access Checklist

Evaluate browser-based dental software on clinic devices, networks and shared workstations. Check sessions, interruptions and export workflows.

At a glance

Online dental software is accessed over a network, often through a browser. Evaluate the actual devices and working conditions of the practice: browser support, session handling, printing, attachments and recovery after interruptions.

Current product stage

The private prototype supports saved patient profiles, scheduling, visit statuses and recall tracking. Clinical, billing, insurance, messaging and website integrations described in our roadmap are not yet available for clinical use.

Use the clinic’s real device mix

Test the browsers, screen sizes, printers and scanners your team relies on. Try a long schedule and a detailed form on a smaller display. A responsive layout should preserve readable controls and essential information without forcing accidental taps.

Check interrupted work

Start editing, briefly interrupt the connection and return. Ask how the product shows unsaved work, detects conflicting edits and prevents duplicate submissions. Confirm whether data was saved before repeating an action, especially in financial or appointment workflows.

Protect shared workstation sessions

Demonstrate sign-out, session expiry and a second staff member signing in. Ask how the application prevents the next user from seeing the previous session’s information. Browser convenience does not replace a practice’s identity and access process.

What online access means here

DentalSoftware.online is a public information site with product chat and enquiries. The separate dental workspace is private and uses fictional data. It is not an open patient portal, clinical trial or generally available practice-management service.
