Dental clinical record software stores the history behind care: findings, notes, chart entries, documents and amendments. Evaluate who can create, sign, correct and export each record, rather than treating a patient profile as a complete clinical chart.
The private prototype supports saved patient profiles, scheduling, visit statuses and recall tracking. Clinical, billing, insurance, messaging and website integrations described in our roadmap are not yet available for clinical use.

In a demonstration, create a fictional visit note, save a draft, sign it and correct a mistake. Ask whether the original wording remains available, whether the correction has its own author and time, and how a second clinician sees the history. A changed screen is not sufficient evidence of a retained clinical record.
Separate chart data from attachments
Make an inventory of structured findings, signed notes, uploaded documents and imaging links. Ask what stays searchable after export and what becomes a separate file. Test a patient with more than one visit so that dates, authors and relationships can be checked across the record.
Define access at the task level
Reception may need demographic and appointment details without needing every clinical function. Ask a vendor to demonstrate role restrictions, temporary support access and removal of a departed employee. Request the corresponding audit history, including how access to exported files is handled.
Current product scope
The private prototype has patient profiles and appointment history. It does not yet provide a clinical chart, signed notes, dental findings or clinical document retention. Use the demo to review administrative workflows only; ask about clinical records as a separate development requirement.
Common questions
Are patient profiles the same as clinical records?
No. Contact details and visit history are useful administrative records, but do not establish clinical charting, signed documentation or amendment controls.
